The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has initiated the application form correction window for WBJEE 2021. The last date to submit online applications was March 30, 2021. Registered candidates can edit certain parameters on the WBJEE 2021 application form on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in during the form correction window. The application form correction process has started today i.e. on March 31, 2021. The last date to make changes to the application form is April 02, 2021.
Candidates may note that once the application form correction window closes, no further request for making any changes on the application form will be entertained. One must login with the application number and password to access the submitted WBJEE 2021 application form and thereafter make changes to editable fields. The WBJEE 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on July 11, 2021 as a state level offline test. It is conducted for admission to B.E/B.Tech and B.Pharm programs in state universities.
How to Edit WBJEE 2021 Application Form?
Candidates can edit the information entered on the WBJEE 2021 application form during the online registration and form fill up schedule earlier. Those who registered successfully and submitted online applications will be able to edit their applications during the form correction schedule upto April 02, 2021.
For making changes to the WBJEE 2021 application form, candidates must visit the official website wbjee.nic.in at first. On the homepage, candidates can see the tab WBJEE on the top dashboard. One must click on this to open the portal for WBJEE 2021. The link to make changes to the application form is provided here.
Upon clicking the link to make WBJEE 2021 application form correction, candidates are redirected to the candidate login page. On the login page, one must enter their Application Number, Password & Security Pin (as displayed) correctly. Thereafter, candidates have to click on Sign In to open the application form and make changes to the editable fields only. Candidates must submit the applications once they are done making relevant changes.
Guidelines for WBJEE 2021 Application Form Correction
It may be noted that not all the information on the WBJEE 2021 application form can be edited as per will. Candidates are only allowed to make changes to certain fields that are shown as editable. As per the official notification for the entrance exam, candidates cannot edit their name, parent’s name, gender, domicile & date of birth.
While editing the application form, it is advisable to check that the images uploaded are clear. In case there is any discrepancy, candidates are advised to re-upload the image files on the online application form. Images must be in the JPG/JPEG format only as per prescribed maximum file size. It may be noted that if an unclear photograph & signature is uploaded, candidates may not be issued admit cards for appearing in the exam.
