On October 28, 2018, VIT University released the application forms for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2019. Candidates can start applying by getting themselves registered on the official website of the University i.e http://www.vit.ac.in. The VITEEE 2019 application forms in offline mode will be available from November 01, 2018. The last date to apply for VITEEE 2019 is March 18, 2019, whereas the last date to edit the details, filled in by a candidate is February 28, 2019.
VTEEE 2019 Application Fee
The VITEEE 2019 application fee for the online form is Rs. 1150, whereas, the fee for VITEEE 2019 OMR application fee is Rs. 1200. The applications will be considered to be successfully submitted after the VIT University has received the application form fee payment.
How to submit VITEEE 2019 online application form
To apply for VITEEE 2019 in online mode, a candidate is required to complete 5 stages of application. Stage 1 will be that of a new user registration, where a candidate will be asked to fill his or her name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, email ID and the verification code. After signing up, candidate’s will be sent the password over the mobile number and email address, provided.
Stage 2 is to login with your newly generated login credentials to complete Stage 3 i.e the online application form, by providing/filling all the relevant details. Candidates are requested to make a note of the application number generated, after completing this stage for future correspondence. Stage 4 is paying the application fee. The fee can be paid via Net Banking, Paytm, or Credit / Debit Card. Save a copy of the confirmation of the transaction initiated for future purposes.
If a candidate has not received confirmation after making a payment, the University advises a candidate to wait for a duration of 48 hours and not to again fill up a new application form. If the problem persists, even after a duration of 48 hours, the authorities and get it resolved. But in case of the amount have not been debited due to some unforeseen reasons, a candidate can try to initiate a fresh payment of the application fee.
The last stage i.e the Stage 5 will be of uploading a candidate’s signature and a photograph of specified measurement. Photographs of wrong file format and selfies will not be accepted by the University. A candidate must rather upload a photograph of a size between 10 to 200 kb with a dimension of 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm, whereas the signature must be of a size between 10 KB and 200 KB with a dimension of 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm. A candidate, after having completed the application form, need not send a copy of the form to the VIT University.
Note that, only some of the details filled in, by a candidate will be available for editing. Details like email id, mobile number, and other such contact details, provided at the time of registration will not be edited, once submitted.
How to submit VITEEE 2019 OMR Application Form
The OMR application form of VITEEE 2019 will be available at designated post offices Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal. Candidates can check the complete list from the images below. OMR form can also be availed from the Chennai, Vellore, AP, and Bhopal campus of VIT, by handing over Demand Draft of Rs. 1200 (or cash) in person at the admission office.
VITEEE 2019 is the only channel to get into any of the Vellore Institute of Technology campuses to pursue any B.Tech specialization. VITEEE is an online examination, which will be held in 2nd or 3rd week of April 2019. It will be held in three slots, which will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
