VITEEE 2018 Application Form Date Extended to 15 March

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University has extended the last date to submit the application form of VITEEE 2018. The application forms were released on November 01, 2017, and initially the last date to apply was February 28, 2018. However, now the deadline has been extended by 15 days and candidates can apply until March 15, 2018. It is a good news for those who wished to apply for VITEEE but were not able to do so. Yet we will advise that the candidates do not wait much and apply asap.

To apply, the candidates need to visit vit.ac.in. Then, the candidates need to register by entering Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Mobile Number, and E-mail Id.

Once, the registration is done, the candidates will be able to fill details in the application form and pay the amount of fee. Those who apply only will be able to do VITEEE 2018 slot booking and download hall ticket.

The application fee for the exam is Rs. 1150 for the online application form and Rs. 1200 for the offline application form. The amount is inclusive of GST. Candidates belonging to NRI category will have to pay 50 USD in order to apply. The only mode to remit the amount is online payment gateway.

According to the previous year statistics, the number of candidates is increasing every year. Now if the date has been extended then the number can be way more than the expectations. You can check the analysis from the chart given below:

VITEEE 2018 will be conducted on April 4 to 15, 2018. It is a computer-based test which will be conducted in 124 cities.  The exam will be held in three slots i.e. 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

The candidates will be able to book the slots after the successful completion of the application process.  VITEEE will contain total 120 questions of English, Physics, Chemistry, and, Mathematics / Biology. The total time will be given as 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.

The candidates who will clear the exam will be called for the counselling process in which they will have to choose the desired course and college to get admission in. They will get the chance to get admission in one of the four campuses of VIT such as Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati.
