Uttarakhand Technical University has published a notice in the regional newspaper for organizing Uttarakhand State entrance examination 2019 (UKSEE). The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 18-19, 2019. The online registration for UKSEE 2019 will begin from April 20, 2019, at uktech.ac.in.
The UKSEE 2019 entrance exam for admission in PG courses like MTech, MBA, and MPharm is on April 18, 2019, whereas, the entrance exam for admission in courses like BPharm, BHMCT, MCA, MCA (Lateral Entry), BPharm (Lateral Entry), and BTech (Lateral Entry) will be conducted on May 19, 2019.
As per the notification, admission in the Lateral entry programmes is offered to the candidates who are the resident of Uttarakhand state and qualifies the Academic domicile, i.e must be studying/ have studied in the state of Uttarakhand.
Application form for UKSEE 2019 costs Rs. 1500 for General and OBC category candidates, whereas, candidates belonging to SC/ST category have to pay an amount of Rs. 500. The application fee is to be paid by online mode using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
The candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the courses which are offered on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. UKSEE 2019 Application Form is to be submitted till May 06, 2019.
For applying for admission to BPharm, and BPharm (Lateral Entry), the students should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Pharmacy-Allopathy) (2 years after 10+2) or equivalent (Diploma should be recognized by PCI). For admission in BPharm, the candidates belonging to all categories must have obtained individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics both in theory and practical.
Admission to BHMCT, the candidates should have passed Class 12th of CBSE or any other equivalent board. Furthermore, the students should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the best of four subjects including one language and compulsory subject. Candidate should have passed English; either core or functional, in any case as a subject.
For admission to B.Tech, 2nd Year (Lateral Entry), the candidates either should have passed the three years Diploma in Engineering of State Board of Technical Education from an AICTE approved institution in the appropriate branch of engineering/technology in aggregate of all semesters OR must have passed the three years B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university and should have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
To apply for the MCA programme, the candidates who have completed BCA, BBA or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course. Those who have finished their graduation in science are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2 and should have passed the graduation degree with more than 60% marks. There is no age limit to apply for the MCA course.
The applicant who wishes to apply for M. Pharm. programme must have at least passed B. Pharm. or equivalent from PCI approved Institute. General/OBC category candidates should have obtained 55% marks and for SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks are 50% marks in B. Pharm. or equivalent exam. Candidates who have a valid GATE score and have qualified GATE shall not have to appear for UKSEE 2019.
To apply for the M.Tech programme, the candidate must have at least passed BTech or equivalent. General/OBC category candidates should have obtained 55% marks and for SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks are 50% marks in B. Pharm. or equivalent exam. Candidates who have a valid GATE score and have qualified GATE shall not have to appear for UKSEE 2019.
