Uttarakhand Board of School Education is going to end the correction facility for the Uttarakhand TET 2021 application form tomorrow i.e. October 10, 2021. The candidates who have earlier applied for the UTET 2021 can make the changes by logging at the official website, ukutet.com.
The Uttarakhand TET 2021 for papers 1 and 2 is scheduled for November 26, 2021. As per the official brochure, candidates are allowed to make corrections in the language chosen for the exam, subject category and test centre city only. Other than these, no corrections will be allowed in any category.
For all the candidates who wish to opt for Uttarakhand TET 2021 exam, the below mentioned five points are crucial to getting a complete insight into the examination:
#1 UTET or Uttarakhand TET is a state-level Teachers Eligibility Test held for the state of Uttarakhand. The candidates who aspire to become a primary or upper primary teacher in the state need to possess the UTET certificate or they won’t be considered eligible for the post.
#2 The basic eligibility criteria for UTET paper 1 is passing class 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary education. Whereas, for paper 2, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree along with D.EL.Ed or B.Ed course.
#3 The UTET exam pattern is an offline test and 150 questions accounting for 150 marks are been asked in the examination. The UTET paper 1 will have five sections, out of which the questions will be based on child psychology and development, language 1 and 2, mathematics and environmental science. While for paper 2, the questions are going to be asked from child psychology and development, language 1 and 2, mathematics & science and social science. The candidates will get 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the test.
#4 The UTET qualifying marks for the general category candidates is 60% marks i.e. 90 marks. For OBC and SC/ST category the minimum qualifying marks is 50% and 40% marks. The candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks are considered to be successful.
#5 Post completion of the Uttarakhand TET exam, the candidates are been awarded a TET certificate with a validity of a lifetime. This certificate has to be used by the candidates later on to seek teacher’s job in the state.
