The results of the Joint Entrance Examination conducted on 03 May 2017 for Uttar Pradesh B.Ed for the academic session 2017-2019, will be announced on 25 May 2017 by noon. The UP B.Ed Result 2017 will not be communicated individually to candidates. Instead, candidate can log in online and check the result of UP BEd JEE 2017.
UP B.Ed JEE the counselling will begin from the 1st week of June 2017. The last date of admission after counselling is 28 June 2017. According to pre-scheduled dates, UP B.Ed counselling shall start from 1st June 2017 and as ordered by Supreme Court, the counselling must end by the end of the month.
Lucknow University claimed that the counselling will end by 25 June 2017 and all the related information shall be out by Monday. UP B.Ed JEE entrance coordinator Professor Naveen K. Khare exclaimed that there are around 33 counselling centres in the state and the final list of the centres shall be released by Monday. The entrance exam conducted on 03 May 2017 was held in 905 centres of the state in which 4,15,144 candidates participated.
3 counselling centres to be built in Lucknow- 3 centres will be set up in Lucknow for B.Ed counselling. From the past 2 sessions, the B.Ed counselling has been taking place in the Arts college of Lucknow, however, this is the first time that there is a doubt related to set up a counselling centre in the college this year. According to the sources, 2 centres shall be set up in Arts college and 1 will be set up in some other college.

Seats to be filled- last year about 1,50,000 less number of applications were received by the university as compared to this year due to which more than 70,000 seats were left unoccupied. However, this time more than 3 times applications have been received by the university and it is expected that the seats in the private colleges will definitely be filled.
Prof. Khare informed that counselling will start from 1st week of June but before that number of seats available will be put up online on upbed.nic.in He also informed that the number of seats available in Agra, Siddharthnagar and Bareilly University has not arrived yet but including Allahabad university there are some universities, which have already sent the expected seat list. All the universities have been notified to send the finalise seat list before the counselling begins so that information can be updated on the site. In the past year, the counselling was held to fill a total of 1,66,000 seats including all the universities. It is expected that this year there will be around 1,70,000 seats for which the counseling will be organised.
