Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2019 admit card. The UTET 2019 admit card can be downloaded at ubseonline.uk.gov.in by logging in with login ID and password. Candidates need to take a printout of the UTET admit card, ball pen, photo ID to exam center on the day of exam that is November 6, 2019.
The valid photo IDs that will be allowed in the exam center include aadhar card, driving license, voter ID, passport, PAN card. Any other item like calculator, log table, scientific calculator, mobile phone, page, digital watch, or any electronic item or written text, will not be allowed.
Admit card will contain registration number, name, date of birth, photograph, signature, exam date, exam timings, subject. The hall ticket will not be sent by post. And also, its link is not available at ubse.uk.gov.in.
To download the admit card, candidates need to go to ubseonline.uk.gov.in. Then click register for UTET. Scroll down and click login. Then sign in with login ID, password. Then click download admit card.
A few candidates have reported that after clicking download admit card link, the page goes blank. It is possibly due to heavy traffic on the website.
UBSE will conduct UTET I on Wednesday, November 6 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Then UTET II from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. However reporting will be much earlier. Entry in exam hall for UTET I will start at 9 am, and that for UTET II will commence at 1 pm.
UTET I is for the candidates who wish to become teachers for primary classes 1st to 5th. Likewise UTET II is for teaching aspirants of classes 6th to 8th. Both exams will be held at 13 districts, in 29 cities.
In UTET I, there will be five sections namely child development and pedagogy, language I, language II, mathematics, environmental studies. There will be 30 questions of 30 marks in each section. Whereas in UTET II, there will be four sections. They will be child development and pedagogy, language I, language II, and fourth section will have to options – first will be mathematics and science for mathematics and science teacher, social studies for social studies teacher. The first three sections will have 30 questions of 30 marks each. The last one will have 60 questions of 60 marks.
There is no negative marking in the exam.
The board had announced UTET I and II 2019 in July. applications were accepted until July end. Next is the exam. After the exam, UBSE will release answer key. Against the same, objections will be invited. For each question, a separate objection has to be raised. On the basis of objections received, final answer key will be decided, and the result will be compiled on the basis of it.
UBSE has prescribed qualifying marks in UTET to be 60% for unreserved candidates, 40% for SC and ST, 50% for OBC, PWD, ExS.
