UT Education Department Chandigarh Introduces Helpline for Class 9 to 12 Students

UT Education Department Chandigarh Launches Helpline for Class 9 to 12 Students

Exams are about to begin. So, the Union Territory Education Department of Chandigarh has launched the helpline for the students of class 9 to 12. The students who have any query or question regarding the board exams, they can ask it there. For this, the UT has introduced some the of the contact numbers on which the students can call. The contact numbers are of the teachers and the counselors who are expert in resolving the queries of the students. The candidates can ask the queries from February 10, 2019.

The board exams of the Central Board of Secondary Education will be held from February 2019. First, the board is conducting the exams for the vocational course and after that, the core subjects’ exams will be held. It will be conducted in the month of March 2019. For all the students, the UT has issued the mobile numbers of 16 senior teachers, including lecturers, TGTs and counselors. They have been taken from various government and private schools such as Government Model Senior Secondary Schools (GMSSS) and Government Model High Schools (GMHS).

The helpline will be activated from February 10, 2019. The students will have 2 months to share their views or problems. The last date to address the queries is April 15, 2019.

The UT has shared a list of the counselors and teachers which contains the name of the teacher, their related subject, the name of the schools and their mobile numbers.

The UT has also defined the specific timings for the questions session. The students will have four and a half hours to ask their queries. The timing is from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Students can ask the questions related to the exams and also, how to deal with the stress which they are facing.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will also launch the pre-exam counseling helpline for all the students. The CBSE Board also invites the parents who want to ask any questions. The helpline will be activated for a few days. The students and parents can reach out the for a helping hand through various ways such as telecommunication, tele-counseling, online counseling, question-answer columns, and from the official website.

The CBSE Board is conducting the board exams for class 10 students from February 21, 2019, while for class 12, the exams will be held from February 15, 2019. The last dates of class 10 and 12 board exams are March 29 and April 04, 2019 respectively.

The admit card link is available for the schools. The school authorities can download the admit card by submitting the login details such as user id, password and security pin.
