UPTET 2019 Official Notification After Dussehra; Check These 7 Preparation Tips

UPTET 2019 notification in Hindi

Teaching aspirants in Uttar Pradesh are eager to know when will UPPEB release the UPTET 2019 official notification. Every day a new reports surfaces about the likely dates, but every newspaper says something else. Now finally there is one common date that all the reports are pointing at – that is after Durga Puja, and Dussehra.

If reports are to be believed then UPPEB will release the official notification for Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2019 this month, and conduct the exam in December. Notification and online application form will be released at upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state level test, conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) for recruitment of primary and upper primary level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh. Last year the exam was conducted in November. Over 20 lakh candidates take part in the exam.

The exam pattern of UPTET 2019 has not undergone any changes over the years. Questions are designed in such as a way so as to assess the teaching aptitude of the candidates.

Paper 1 for classes I to V teacher aspirants will be 150 objective type of questions based on Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Language I, Language II, Environmental studies, Science and Social Studies. Each correct answer will fetch 1 marks and there is no negative marking. Candidates will get a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the paper. Whereas Paper 2 for classes VI to VII teaching aspirants will have 30 questions each in CDP, language I, language II, there will be 60 in maths and science or social science section.

Today in the era of cut-throat competition, a proper strategy is necessary to develop to ace UPTET 2019 with good marks. Candidates can follow these few simple tips and study hacks to prepare for the exam :

#1 The very first thing that a candidate should do is to analyze their weak and strong points. Focus and put extra effort on the subjects that you are weak in and with daily practice, the weakness will turn into strength.

#2 To score well in the exam, solve previous year question papers or model papers of UPTET as it will help you familiarize with the exam pattern and you will develop the tricks of solving the paper in a stipulated time.

#3 Candidates can take help from various reference books such as WILEY’s Child Development And Pedagogy Exam Goalpost, Lucent’s TET Teacher Eligibility Test (Hindi), UPTET 2019 English (Paper I & II) Complete Guide & Practice Book, Wiley’s UPTET Exam Goalpost, Paper – 1, Solved Papers and Practice Tests, in Hindi, 2019,

#4 Practicing Mock test is also an important strategy as it will help you in time management and will let you to give you an edge over other students who doesn’t much practice and idea about exam.

#5 Candidate should make a proper study plan for UPTET Exam. A candidate should study minimum 3-4 hours daily. Strictly follow your time table. Do not postpone your study plan.

#6 Keep revising what you have studied as it will help you to remember the topics just before the exam and it will reduce your anxiety while preparing for the exam.

#7 Include / avail short breaks in between the study hours as it is necessary to refresh your mind. Long hours without any break can suffocate the minds and will block everything whatever you have studied.
