Exam Regulatory Authority Uttar Pradesh, also known as PNP Prayagraj, will conduct Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2019. The exam will be held on December 22, 2019, from 10 am to 12.30 pm for paper 1, and from 2.30 pm to 5 pm for paper 2.
Detailed notification for UPTET 2019 will be issued on October 31, 2019. The online application form November 1, 2019. Last date to apply will be November 20, 2019. However the last date to pay fee will be November 21, 2019. The next day, November 22, 2019 will be the last date to complete the form, print it. Admit card will be issued for downloading on December 12, 2019.
After the exam, answer key of UPTET 2019 will be released on the official website on December 26, 2019. Objections will be accepted until December 30, 2019. Revised answer keys, on the basis of discussions done by the committee, will be uploaded on January 16, 2020. Result will then be announced on January 21, 2020.
Eligibility certificate will be issued to candidates who qualify TET within one month of the declaration of results.
A few other dates have also been mentioned, that are more relevant to the exam conducting body than the candidates. For example November 22, 2019 is the date when details of exam centers details will be given to the authority. Then by December 2, 2019, decision will be taken on a district level to finalize the exam centers. After that by December 4, 2019, candidates will be distributed among the centers. Soft copy of centers will be uploaded at NIC Lucknow website by December 6, 2019.
Attendance sheet will be provided by NIC Lucknow by December 17, 2019. Centre coordinators will get candidate details with their scanned photograph by December 20, 2019. On the same ate, question paper and omr sheet will be sent to be kept under double lock.
On December 24, 2019, answer sheets in shielded bundles will be sent to the authority. An expert committee will look into the answer key objections on January 13, 2020.
Shasandesh for the state level teacher eligibility test has been published with important dates, eligibility, syllabus, district centers, exam pattern and other details. Leading dailies have reported the same and this time, the news seems confirmed. Shasanadesh is the set of guidelines which the concerned government body publishes in the beginning, on the basis of which things are to be done.
UPTET is the state level teacher eligibility test, qualifying which is required to be qualified in order to get a job as a teacher in any school for classes 1 to 8. The test will be of 150 marks. Qualifying marks will be 60% that is 90 marks. However for SC, ST, OBC, ExS, PWD candidates, it will be 55% that is 82.
Application fee for general and OBC, SC and ST, PWD candidates will respectively be Rs 600, Rs 400, and Rs 100 for only paper I or II. Whereas to appear in both papers, respective fee will be Rs 1200, Rs 800, and Rs 200.
