UPSSSC ASO Recruitment Notification 2019 out; Apply online by October 9

Online applications are invited for 623 vacancies of ASO, and 281 for ARO.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) invites applications for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (ARO) Statistics. A total of 904 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment, out of which 623 will be filled up for ARO and 281 for ASO. The registration link is active at upsssc.gov.in. The interested candidates have to apply before last date, October 9.

For this government job, aspirants who are between 21 to 40 years old are eligible. The upper age limit is relaxed for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates as per the Government of India guidelines. Besides that, he / she should possess PG degree in mathematics or mathematical statistics or commerce or statistics or economics.

To apply online for UPSSSC recruitment 2019, candidates have to access the portal of UPSSSC, upsssc.gov.in. Then go to the “Live Advertisement” section. After that, click on apply button of Assistant Statistical Officer and Assistant Research Officer Statistics General ion Competitive Examination. On clicking the Apply button, select the ‘Candidate Registration’ tab in green color. It will then ask whether you have previously applied. Candidates selecting ‘No’, will get redirected to exam instructions page. After reading, click on the ‘I accept Above Declaration’ button.

An application fee of Rs 160 along with transaction charges of Rs 25 have to be submitted by UR / OBC and Rs 70 + transaction charges of Rs 25 by SC / ST. The amount of the total fee including the transaction charges are – Rs 185 for UR / OBC , Rs 95 for SC / ST. Categories belonging to PWD has to pay only the transaction charges of Rs 25. Candidate can submit the fee either by online through credit card / debit card / net banking or offline by bank challan.

The documents that needs to be submitted along with the application form for UPSSSC ASO 2019 are – date of birth as per high school mark sheet / certificate, intermediate name of the educational board, year of passing, roll number, domicile certificate number (if applicable), caste certificate, Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable, Dependent of Freedom Fighter (DFF) certificate number (if applicable). Print the application form after all the details are filled up.

UPSSSC ASO recruitment 2019 selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of an examination. The exam can be held either online or written based. Details regarding the exam schedule, exam pattern will be soon updated in the UPSSSC’s official website. Candidates on appointment will be offered with a pay scale of Rs 9300 to Rs 34,800, with a grade scale of Rs 4200.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducts various examinations in Uttar Pradesh. It came into existence in November, 1988 as UPSSSC board with its headquarters at Lucknow. It got converted into Commission in the year 1990. The commission is headed by its one Chairperson, a Secretary and eight members who works directly under the Chairperson.
