Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the last date to submit the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2019 application form. Candidates can now apply till March 25, 2019, for UPSEE 2019. Also, candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section can avail the quota by marking the same in the form.
However, candidates who have already applied for UPSEE 2019 and belong to the EWS quota can mark the same in the application form from March 16 to 28, 2019. Also, the application form correction window will be available until April 3, 2019.
What is EWS Quota? – EWS or Economically Weaker Section Quota has been introduced by the Government of India for the economically weaker General category candidates of the country. This quota will be applicable in government jobs and educational institutions from now on.
Earlier the last date to apply for UPSEE 2019 was March 15, 2019, which has now been extended for 10 days in order to implement the EWS quota facility to candidates belonging to the category. The exam is to be conducted on April 21, 2019.
Now, in order to apply for UPSEE 2019 candidates will have to fill an online application form and pay an amount of Rs. 1300, Male / Transgender Candidates of General/ OBC Category and Rs.650, SC/ST Category/Female/PH Candidates of All the category. The fee is to be paid in online mode using Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.
Next, candidates will have to fill a registration form with Personal details, Qualifying Examination Details and other details like Exam Center Choice, Category, Sub-Category, Rural Weightage Claimed, Seeking Admission For, Course(s) Applied For. Also, a photograph and signature of the candidates are to be uploaded.
In case a candidate forgets his/her Application number or password that will be required later in order to download the Admit card for UPSEE 2019, they need not worry. They can retrieve the same from the two options for the “Forgot Password” and “Forgot Application Number”. Click on the appropriate one to retrieve the same.
UPSEE is a state level entrance examination conducted by AKTU to grant admission in UG and PG courses namely, B.Tech, B. Arch, B.Des, B.Pharm, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Des, MBA (Integrated), MCA, MCA (Integrated), etc. The examination pattern for all the courses offered through UPSEE is different. The candidates thus have to appear in the respective paper as per the course they have selected to take admission in.
