Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Application Form on January 23, 2019. UPSEE 2019 is an entrance test for the students who wish to take admission in B Tech, B Arch, and B Pharma, MBA, MCA, BFA, BHMCT Programs. Interested students can now fill the application form by visiting the official website, upsee.nic.in. Candidates will be able to fill the application form till March 15, 2019.
UPSEE 2019 is going to be held on April 21, 2019. It is mandatory for the students to fill the application form in order to appear for the UPSEE 2019 entrance exam. Candidates are advised to first go through the eligibility criteria carefully and then proceed to fill the UPSEE 2019 Application Form. The basic UPSEE 2019 eligibility criteria are that a candidate should be Class 12 pass and should have pursued related subject combinations, for the course applying for.
For a B.Tech/B.Pharm./B.Des./MCA(Integrated),B.Tech.(Agriculture), M Tech (Dual Degree)/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA(Integrated)/B Voc admission, minimum marks required is 45% in aggregate, whereas, for B.Arch admission, at least 50% marks in average, as well as 50% in PCM, is required. For MBA/MCA admission, a candidate needs to score at least 50% of marks in their qualifying level of exam. AKTU has devised certain other eligibility criteria for NRI/Lateral entry candidates, which a candidate can check over the official website.
Candidates are required to first do the registration and then fill the form at its official website, upsee.nic.in. For online registration, candidates have to enter his / her personal details, contact details and also set a password. After that, candidates are required to fill the application form by entering his / her personal details, academic details, upload relevant documents and pay the application fee of Rs. 1300 for Male / Transgender of general and OBC category. For females, SC / ST, Physically handicapped, they have to pay Rs. 650. The application fee can be paid through online mode via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
To avoid the rejection of the application form, candidates are advised not to wait for the last date to submit the application form and also attach the necessary documents like photograph and signature as per the specification. The scanned images of both the documents should be in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the photograph should not be more than 100 KB and the file size of the signature should be 30 KB.
New Changes In UPSEE 2019
As this year has been a year of changes! UPSEE 2019 has also witnessed some of the changes. Earlier, UPSEE was conducted in online mode for some courses, whereas in offline mode for some other. But, this year, it is going to be conducted in pen and paper-based mode for all the courses. AKTU has reduced the number of papers for which earlier UPSEE was conducted. Earlier, it was conducted for 11 papers but now this state level exam will be conducted for 8 papers. One of the significant changes is that UPSEE 2019 is going to be conducted in multiple sessions on April 21, 2019.
