Today i.e. April 10, 2019, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Application Form and notification of Combined Medical Service (CMS) 2019. The application form has been made available at the upsconline.nic.in. The candidates can fill the UPSC CMS Application Form 2019 up to May 06, 2019 by 06:00 p.m. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 21, 2019. The recruitment will be done to the posts of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, Junior Scale Posts, General Duty Medical Officer, and General Duty Medical Gr.-II for a total of 965 vacancies.
The general and OBC category candidates applying for CMS 2019 those have to pay Rs 200 as an application fee and the candidates belonging to SC / ST/ PWD category those are exempted from the application fee payment. The candidates can make the payment by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card / Internet banking or by depositing the cash in any branch of state bank of India (SBI).
Before filling the application form candidates should first read the eligibility criteria because if the candidates found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process those will be not considered for the further process. The candidate’s age should be below 32 years as on August 01, 2019. The candidates should have qualified the MBBS. The candidates who will submit the CMS Application Form 2019 on time for those candidates admit card for the online examination will be issued. The UPSC CMS Admit Card 2019 will be released at least two weeks before the commencement exam.
The candidate’s selection will be done on the basis of computer-based examination and personality test. The Computer-based examination is consist of two paper i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CBT will be of total 500 marks. In paper 1 questions related to General Medicine and Paediatrics will be asked. Paper 2 questions will be asked from Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine subject. The candidates who will qualify the CBT by scoring minimum qualifying marks those will be called for PT.
After the successful conduction of the UPSC CMS 2019 examination, the result for that will be declared by the commission. At first, the CBT result will be declared and secondly result for personality test will be declared. The result of CBT will be declared in the month of September or October. The candidates who will qualify the final round, those will be appointed for the applied post. UPSC has decided the salary as per the post.
