Union Public Service Commission has announced the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Result 2018 on January 10, 2019. The CAPF examination was held on August 12, 2018. The candidates who have appeared in the exam can check their result at the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. The result is in the form of pdf and containing the qualified candidate’s roll number and name.
The candidates who have been declared qualified in the written exam those are required to register themselves at the relevant page of the official website before filling up the Detailed Application Form (DAF). Along with filling up of DAF candidates also have to upload the scanned copies of relevant certificates/documents in support of their eligibility, claim of reservation etc. Online DAF will be made available at the official website on January 14, 2019, and before or till January 28, 2019 (06:00 pm) candidates will be able to register themselves.
The candidates who will submit the DAF on time those will be called for the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test. In the PS/PET candidates, height and weight will be measured.
In PET the candidates have to perform these following tasks race, Short put (only for male), Long Jump. For male and females, there are different parameters to complete the task. Male and Female candidates have to complete the 100 meter race in 16 sec and 18 sec respectively. Male and Female candidates have to complete the second race of 800 meters in 3 minutes and 45 seconds and 2 minutes and 45 seconds respectively. Long Jump criteria for male and female are 3.5 Meters (3 chances) and 3.0 Meters (3 chances) respectively.
The candidates who will qualify the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test those will be called for the final round i.e. Interview. For each test separate result will be declared. The candidates who will qualify the final round those will be considered for the further recruitment process.
The CAPF 2018 exam was held for the post of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Border Security Force, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). There are 398 vacancies on which the recruitment is being conducted.
