Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the NDA 1 result 2021 online, at upsc.gov.in. The result has been released as a PDF, in which roll numbers of the selected candidates are given. The candidates having their roll number on the list can then proceed to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview rounds. The SSB rounds will be held from January 02, 2022. In all, 8207 candidates have qualified.
All the candidates who have successfully qualified in the written examination are required to register themselves online on the Directorate General of Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in, with the same Email ID as provided to UPSC while filling UPSC online application. The registration must be done within 2 weeks from the date of declaration of the written exam. The candidates will then be allotted Selection Centres and dates, of the SSB interview which will be communicated on the registered e-mail ID and via joinindianarmy.nic.in.

To check the result candidates have to go to the official website of UPSC, i.e., upsc.gov.in. On reaching the website, the candidates need to look for the result link on the home page. National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination result 2021 displays on the screen. Click on the link available in the “Download” link. Once the file is downloaded, candidates can check if their roll number is there on the list.
All the candidates who go to the SSB interview have to must carry with them original matriculation certificate or equivalent exam certificate. Also, candidates who have already passed the 10+2 exam, must take with them their original 10+2 certificate or the marksheet.
The final list of the selected candidates will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates on the written exam and SSB interviews. The final list will be also uploaded on the website and later the marksheet will be also issued. The marksheet of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result, that is after concluding SSB Interview. The marksheet will be available for access for 30 days from the date of upload.
There is a total of 370 vacancies available in the National Defence Academy. This includes 208 for Army, 42 for the Navy, and 120 for Air Force (including 28 for ground Duties). Also, there are 30 vacancies in Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme). Thus the total number of vacancies in NDA (I) 2021 is 400. This year, the first National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination were held on April 18, 2021. The results have been declared today, i.e., June 30, 2021.
