Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the NDA / NA 1 2019 notification on January 09, 2019. The notification for National Defense Academy (NDA) / Naval Academy (NA) 2019 will be available on upsc.gov.in. The candidates will be able to register from the very same day at upsconline.nic.in. Through this examination, the candidates would be granted admission into 143th Course and for the 105th Indian Naval
Academy Course (INAC).
UPSC is inviting the application form from the Indian national, who is falling in the age bar of 18 to 21 years and have completed the Higher Secondary examination (12th). The Commission will not accept the application form after February 04, 2019. For completing the application form candidates have to submit the amount of Rs. 100/- online/offline whichever method suit them. Through online, the candidates can use the Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking etc. If a candidate chooses to submit the fee offline, then they need to deposit the amount in the nearest SBI branch via challan.
Important Documents required to fill the Form
UPSC will not accept the application form without some important details in application form. For this a candidate will need the following documents: mark sheet of 10 and 12th class, aadhaar card, scanned copy of a photo and signature.
The candidates who will enroll themselves for the NDA exam, have to undergo the written examination followed by SSB interview. For written examination, the Commission will issue the admit card 03 weeks prior to the examination. The written examination will be held on April 21, 2019. As of now, UPSC has provided the application dates and examination dates. Apart from that, all the information will be provided in the notification.
Every year UPSC conducts NDA /NA examination twice in year. In the year 2018, the NDA 1 released for the 415 vacancies, and NDA /NA 2 was conducted to recruit 383 candidates. Recently UPSC has announced the NDA written examination result for NDA 2 of the year 2018, and final examination result of NDA /NA I 2018.
About NDA: The National Defense Academy is the an academy where the cadets of all three services Army, Navy Air Force are trained together. After training, the cadets go on their respective service academies.
