UPSC IES ISS and Geologist Geo-Scientist 2019 Online Form Released-aglasem

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification and for Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) and Combined Geologist and Geo Scientist on March 20, 2019. The application form is also available on the website, and the online application window will remain active until April 16, 2019.

For IES / ISS 2019 the UPSC is inviting the application form from the candidates who are in the age group of 21 to 30 years and have completed the graduation/ post graduation in Economic and Maths discipline, can apply for IES and ISS respectively.

Another examination is for Combined Geologist Geo Scientist the UPSC is inviting the application form from the candidates who have completed their Master’s Degree in the respective discipline. The age bracket for the Combined Geologist and Geo Scientist has been kept 21 to 32 years.

The registration process for both of the services is almost the same. The link to register with is available on the website of UPSC. There are two parts in the application process the candidates have to complete both of the parts, in order to complete the registration process.

The application fee for both of the examination is Rs. 200/- for unreserved category candidates. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST / PWD the application fee is exempted. To encourage the participation of woman candidates UPSC hasn’t charge anything to fill the application form.

While filling the application form the candidate must keep ready their scanned copy of photograph and signature in .jpg/.jepg format. The candidates who are belonging to reserved categories have to provide the community certificate details.

As per the initiative has been taken by the UPSC, the candidates who belong to the Economic Weaker Section will be provided a 10% reservation. Such candidates must have to produce the income or asset certificate to claim the reservation.

According to the instructions provided by the UPSC to the aspirants, the candidates have to exercise utmost care while filling the application form, as the corrections/editing in the application form will not be allowed once submitted.

In case a candidate has made the mistakes in the application form, then he/she can fill a fresh form, in such a situation, the form with the highest number will be considered. The fee submitted earlier will not be adjusted with another.

Once the application process overs the admit card for the IES / ISS and Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist will be issued to the registered candidates. The admit card will be issued 03 weeks prior to the examination i.e. 02 weeks of June 2019.

The written examination for both of Services will be conducted from June 28 to 30, 2019. The adoption of the candidates is based on written examination and Viva-voice.
