The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC CDS 2 Final Result 2020. The written examination for the same has been conducted on November 08, 2020, while the result was announced on December 12, 2020. The selection process of the CDS II comprises a written test followed by an interview round. The 129 candidates who have qualified for the examination will get the opportunity to get admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
The candidates who have appeared for the interview round can check their results by visiting the official website of the commission. Post this, they have to find the UPSC CDS II Final Result 2020 link on the What’s New section. Then, they will be redirected to the result page wherein the candidates have to right-click and open the pdf. On the result PDF, the candidates have to scroll along to find their Roll number and Name. The candidates can also choose to click CTRL+F along with Roll Number/Name to make the process fast.
Out of the 129 qualified candidates, 71 have qualified for IMA, 49 for the INA while the remaining 09 for the AFA. As per the official data released by the commission, a total of 2702 students had qualified in the written exam of Indian Military Academy while 1246 and 0607 students have qualified for the written examination for the Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, respectively. The final result has been prepared by considering the marks scored in the Written exam and Interview.
The written examination was conducted in different centres across the country however the Interview was conducted in the Army HeadQuarters. The Document verification has not yet been concluded and the final marks will be out once it is completed. The candidates who find their name in the result PDF are asked to send the original certificates and documents for Date of Birth/Educational qualification along with self-attested xerox copies to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters as per the candidate’s selection.
The selection process comprises a written exam aimed at judging the mental intelligence of the students followed by an interview round. As per the official notification released by the commission, it has reported 100 vacancies for the Indian Military Academy, 26 vacancies for the Indian Naval Academy, and 32 for the Indian Air Force Academy.
