Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the admit card of Combined Defense Services (CDS) in the falling week. The CDS 1 2019 examination is scheduled to be held on February 03, 2019. As per the notification of CDS, the admit card of CDS 1 will be released 03 weeks prior to the exam. So the admit card can be expected around January 13, 2019.
The Commission will issue the admit card on its official website at upsc.gov.in. The candidates who enrolled themselves for the examination will able download the admit card for the written examination. There will be two options in front of the candidates for downloading it. The aspirants can use Registration Id with the date of birth, or they can use roll number with date of birth or name, Father’s name and date of Birth. After the issuance of the admit card, candidates can download it until February 03, 2019 by 04 Pm.
The CDS 1 exam will be conducted in three shifts, and the 3rd shift will commence at 04 PM, Hence Commission will make the admit card available till that duration. It is mandatory to carry admit card in the examination. The aspirants shall not be allowed to take the exam without it. UPSC shall not send the admit card by post, the candidates have to download it by using vital parameters.
UPSC has provided the helpline numbers to the candidates, in case the candidate fails to download the e-admit card. The issue can be presented in the Facilitation counter in Commission’ Office. If visiting in person is not possible then, they can call over the provided helpline numbers 011-23381125/011-23385271/011-23098543.
In addition to this UPSC, has directed that candidates should contact the officials at least 21 days prior to the exam. If anyone fails to do so then he/she will be responsible for non-receipt of admit card.

Discrepancies on the admit card can lead to candidature cancellation, if any candidate finds any discrepancy on their admit card, they have to bring this issue in the notice of Commission. However, while communicating to the Commission the candidates have to mention these details: Name and year of the examination, Registration Id, Roll number (if received), Name in block letters, complete correspondence address.
Many a times candidates have the issues about their photograph if candidates photo is a blur on the admit card. Then they have to carry 3 identical photographs along with the valid Id proof in the examination. The mobile phones or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Candidates are only allowed to carry Blue of black point pen in the exam. As the mode of examination is pen paper based.
In CDS examination the candidates have to undergo the written examination and SSB interview. After written examination, the result will be announced in form of pdf which will contain the roll number of qualified candidates. Then the qualifiers have to appear in the SSB.
