UPPSC declared the PCS 2016 final result on February 22, 2019. For total 633 vacancies, the examination was conducted and total of 630 candidates has qualified the PCS 2016 examination. The PCS Result 2016 has been declared at uppsc.up.nic.in. Jaijeet Kaur Hora from Kanpur topped the PCS 2016 examination. Vinod Kumar Pandey from Pratapgarh and Navdeep Shukla from Allahabad are 2nd and 3rd toppers respectively. After the successful conduction of the final round i.e. interview which was conducted between December 14, 2018, to January 24, 2019, the final result has been announced. In the Interview total, 1935 candidates appeared.
For the post of deputy collector, 53 candidates has been selected among them 15 are female candidates and for the Deputy Superintendent of Police and Block Development Officers post total 52 and 21 candidates have been selected. Among the top 10 qualifiers of examination 4 are female candidates. The result is containing the roll number, candidate’s name, category, and remarks of the qualified candidates.
PCS 2016 preliminary examination was conducted on May 20, 2016, and the main examination was conducted between September 20 to October 10, 2016. The main examination result was declared on November 16, 2018. UPPSC Secretay Jagdish said that in the preliminary examination at least 2,50,696 candidates appeared and total 14,000 candidates qualified the prelims exam and out of 12,901, only 1,993 candidates qualified the main examination.
The commission is also preparing the PCS 2018 prelims result. The commission has decided to announce the PCS 2018 prelims result after the declaration of the PCS 2016 final result. The PCS 2018 preliminary examination was conducted on October 28, 2019. The prelims result will be based on the performance of the candidates in the examination. The qualifiers of the prelims examination will be called for the second stage of the test i.e. main exam. The candidates who will qualify the main those will be called for the final round i.e. Interview.
After the declaration of the PCS 2018 prelims result UPPSC will declare the PCS 2017 main result. The PCS 2017 main examination was conducted from June 18 to July 06, 2018.
