UPPSC APO 2018 Revised Dates Available; Main Exam On July 29 & 30; Check Details Here!

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has now officially announced fresh dates to conduct the main stage exam of APO 2018 recruitment

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission officially extended the dates of the UPPSC APO 2018 recruitment in an official announcement earlier on Tuesday. An official notice of revised exam dates is available in this regard at the website of the Commission i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in. As per the notice, the dates of the Main stage exam of UPPSC conducted Assistant Prosecuting Officer 2018 recruitment has been extended. The main stage exam is now scheduled to be conducted on July 29 and July 30, 2020. Earlier, the main exam for the UPPSC APO 2018 recruitment was scheduled to be held on July 18 & July 19, 2020. The Commission has clearly cited COVID-19 as the reason behind this decision. All other terms and conditions of the UPPSC APO 2018 recruitment are to remain unchanged.

Earlier this year, the UPPSC conducted the Preliminary stage exam of APO recruitment 2018. The prelims were conducted on February 16, 2020, in exam centers in the cities of Lucknow and Prayagraj. As per the selection method of specified by the Commission, candidates qualifying through the Preliminary stage exam are eligible to appear in the main stage exam. However, in order to appear in the main exam, qualifying candidates are required to re a-apply for the main stage exam as well.

According to the selection method prescribed by UPPSC, the Commission recently conducted the application process of the main exam of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) recruitment 2018. Candidates who qualified through the Prelims were allowed to submit their applications to appear in the main exam till June 12, 2020. The Commission also received hard copies of the application form up to June 23, 2020. After this, the application process for the Main stage exam was concluded. It was earlier announced that the main exams were tentatively scheduled to be conducted on the previous dates of July 18 and July 19, 2020. However, now that the official announcement is out, these exam dates are no longer valid and the main stage exam of UPPSC APO 2018 recruitment is scheduled to be conducted on July 29 and July 30, 2020.

Besides the declaration of the revised exam dates, the UPPSC has indicated that all terms and conditions of recruitment regarding the APO 2018 recruitment are to remain unchanged. Applicants for the main stage exam and other concerned can check out these terms and conditions and other details in the official recruitment notice. Advertisement No. A-5/E-1/2018 can be accessed from the website of the Commission for all related terms and conditions of the recruitment. It has also been indicated that admit cards issued for the main exam are to remain valid and intact and there is no need to re-download the admit cards due to the extension of the exam dates.
