UPPSC had announced the UP PCS mains results in September month, and then conducted the interviews. The mains exam was conducted in June-July last year. Result was announced more than a year later.
The long delay in results had made the UP PCS 2017 result the priority of the commission. For this reason UPPSC had left no stone unturned to ensure that the final results were declared on priority. As can be seen, the interview process was therefore conducted continuously for sixteen days, even on holidays. Initially the interviews were supposed to end on September 30. However on demand of candidates, a few extra dates were provided.
