Meet the toppers

Through the UP PCS 2017, a total of 676 vacancies are being filled. Interviews were conducted for the posts from September 16 to October 1. A total of 59 candidates were reported as absent in the interview.

UPPSC had announced the UP PCS mains results in September month, and then conducted the interviews. The mains exam was conducted in June-July last year. Result was announced more than a year later.

The long delay in results had made the UP PCS 2017 result the priority of the commission. For this reason UPPSC had left no stone unturned to ensure that the final results were declared on priority. As can be seen, the interview process was therefore conducted continuously for sixteen days, even on holidays. Initially the interviews were supposed to end on September 30. However on demand of candidates, a few extra dates were provided.

UPPSC or the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting various recruitment exams for the state of Uttar Pradesh. The commission releases several notifications from time to time, and conducts exams as well as interviews for the different posts. All ongoing and upcoming UPPSC recruitment 2019 can be checked at uppsc.up.nic.in as per their availability.
