Government of Uttar Pradesh has released the notification about the online examination of Direct Recruitment 2016 for the male candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector Civil Police, Platoon Commander in PAC and Fire services. The total seats available for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) are 2400, for Platoon Commander, PAC
The total seats available for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) are 2400, for Platoon Commander, PAC are 210 and for Sub-Inspector (Fire Services) are 97. On the other side, the online registration of direct recruitment 2016 was also done for the women candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) and the seats available for the women candidates are 600 in total. UPPRPB has released admit card for exam in online mode.
According to the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the total number of applied candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police), Platoon Commander in PAC and Fire Services are 6,30,926 out of which 5,42,124 are male candidates and rest of the 88,802 are female candidates.
All the applied candidates will get the recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police), Platoon Commander in PAC and Fire Services on the basis of the online examination. Online examination will be held from July 17, 2017 to July 31, 2017. Whoever will clear the online examination will be directly recruited for these police posts.
Due to the large number of applicants, the examination will be held on different dates in different sections having different question papers for each day. Each section will have different question papers and the scores obtained by the candidates will be calculated by using the MBA/MMS CET method of Standardised Equi-percentile.
Online Examination Pattern is also known. The exam will consist of 160 Objective-type questions in which the candidates will have to choose the answer out of four given options. Each correct answer will get 2.50 marks and for each wrong answer, there will be no negative marking. If any wrong question will be there in the paper then the evaluation process will be according to the Writ Petition No. 2669/2009 – Pawan Kumar Agrahari Vs Public Service Commission in High Court.
Candidates who will score 50 marks in the examination will not be qualified for any post. Every question paper will be held both in Hindi and English language except for Hindi subject. Candidates will get the notification about downloading the admit cards through SMS on their registered mobile number. Download UPPRPB admit card for police recruitment online. Candidates will have access to Mock Tests available on the official website http://www.prpb.gov.in by entering the registration number and DOB (date of birth).
In case of any incorrect question/answer in the online examination, the candidates will be provided with the option to file the issue for Candidate Interface and for that they have to Log In using their registered Email Id and DOB (date of birth).
