UPES Extended Last date to Apply for B.Tech, LLB, BPharma

UPES 2019 Application Form - Last Date Extended

The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) has extended the last date for submitting the application form. The last date for submission of forms has been extended for BTech, LLB and BPharma courses till May 10, 2019. This is the last opportunity for those candidates who could not register earlier to apply for admission at UPES at upes.ac.in.

The aspirants can apply for UPES-EAT (B.Tech), ULSAT (LL.B), UPES PAT (B. Pharma) by online mode only. On the homepage of the website, a pop up will appear on the screen regarding the last date extended. Click on the Apply button and then in the next screen, UPES application form 2019 will appear on the screen.

In the Application form, students have to fill in their personal details, academic qualification details. In the Personal details, aspirants have to fill in their name, date of birth, nationality, state, city, mobile number, email id, select the course for which a candidate wishes to apply for, etc. Click on the “Next” button to proceed to the next step.

After entering their personal details, candidates need to fill in their educational qualification details. In this part, they have to fill in their Class 10th and 12 passing year, marks obtained, and name of the school. After this, proceed to pay the application fee as is shown on the screen. The application for UPES Admission is paid by online mode only using Credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI/ wallets.

The application fee for UPES 2019 entrance exam is the same for all the courses. Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 1850 and in case For Foreign Candidates, they have to pay US$ 75.

The candidates are offered admission in 34 specialization courses in the School of Engineering (BTech) such as Aerospace Engineering, Geo-Informatics Engineering, Applied Petroleum Engineering with Specialization in Upstream, etc. There are 21 specialization courses for the School of Computer Science (BTech) such as Cloud Computing & Virtualization (IBM), Open Source and open standards (IBM), Big Data (Xebia). For LLB at UPES, there are 6 specialization courses offered namely, Intellectual Property Rights/Food, Health & Environment Law/ Medical and Forensic Law, Taxation Law/Media & Entertainment Law/ Legal Compliance & Secretarial Practices, etc.

Once a candidate pays the application fee and submits the form, next they should proceed to book the exam slot. The entrance exam for UPES-EAT (B.Tech), ULSAT (LL.B), UPES PAT (B. Pharma) is scheduled to be held from May 13-19, 2019. To book the exam slot, candidates need to log in by entering their email id and password. In the slot booking process, students have to select the test date, center, and time as per their convenience.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. UPES is Asia’s first core sector university and the first ever Indian institution to offer 79 graduate and postgraduate programs across 14 core sectors like oil and gas, power, infrastructure, information technology, transportation, electronics, high technology, design, business, planning and architecture, public policy and legal studies.
