Registrations link for the upcoming UPCET 2021 exam is yet to be published by the National Testing Agency. Online registrations for the exam, earlier known as the UPSEE, was scheduled to commence on March 26, 2021 at upcet.nta.nic.in. This is the updated website on which, UPCET 2021 aspirants will be able to register and apply online. However, till now, the NTA has not updated the website with the registration & application form fill up link. Meanwhile, the last date to apply for the exam has also been declared. The last date is April 25, 2021.
The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Test (UPSEE) has been rechristened as the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) in 2021. Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) published a short notice indicating the schedule of application window. Accordingly, it was scheduled to start on March 26, 2021 on the aforementioned website. However, on the official website upcet.nta.nic.in, the registration link is not yet updated.
Neither the National Testing Agency, not the AKTU has spoken on the delay in releasing the application form yet. It is not clear as to that reasons led to the delay of the release of UPCET 2021 application form. However, with the last date already announced, it can be anticipated that the application form may be released anytime soon. Aspiring candidates are advised to check the website regularly.
UPCET is going to be conducted this year for admission to certain UG, PG & Lateral Entry programs at AKTU, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technologu (MMMUT) and other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh. The courses include BBA, B.Des, B.Pharm. BHMCT, 5 Years Integrated Programs, B.Tech/B.Pharm Lateral Entry courses, MBA, MCA, M.Tech etc. The examination is going to be conducted across 57 cities in the state of UP.
The NTA has only led insights into certain aspects of the admission entrance test. The notice released by the NTA directs aspiring candidates to visit the website nta.ac.in for detailed information about eligibility criteria, scheme of exam, exam centre, duration & timings, fee, procedure for applying etc. However, for applying online, candidates have to go to the website upcet.nta.nic.in only.
Candidates may note that the UPCET 2021 examination is to be held as a Computer Based Test on May 16, 2021. The test will be an objective type test consisting of MCQ type questions only. Although the NTA has not indicated how many questions will be there in the question paper, the medium of the papers are announced. For admission to all UG & Integrated programs, the question paper will be set bilingually in the English & Hindi languages. For admission to PG programs, the question paper will be set in English only. In case of any ambiguity, the English version of the question paper will be considered as final.
