National Testing Agency has released a public notice announcing the new exam dates and other schedule for UPCET 2021. Now, the UPCET 2021 (formerly known as UPSEE) will take place on May 18, 2021 instead of May 16, 2-21 Moreover, the UPSEE 2021 registration link is also available online at upcet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have passed the 12th class/ Graduation degree can submit their applications for Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test 2021. The last date for the submission of UPCET UG 2021 or UPCET PG 2021 is April 30, 2021.
Earlier, the UPCET 2021 online registrations were expected to commence from March 26, 2021, onwards. The last date for the UPCET 2021 registration was April 25, 2021. However, the procedure got delayed due to some unmentioned reasons. Now, NTA has announced the new schedule for UPCET 2021. The online registrations have started for the UPCET 2021 exam for both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate program. Also, the UPCET 2021 reschedule from May 16, 2021, to May 18, 2021.
Before candidates start registering for UPCET 2021, they have to make sure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates applying for Undergraduate programs must have completed their 12th class with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in compulsory subjects. For admission in B.Arch, candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Moreover, for admission in postgraduate courses, a Bachelor’s degree with the specified minimum aggregate marks of 50% is mandatory. Those who are applying for Lateral Entry Courses must have completed a 3 years full-time diploma in engineering/pharmacy or BCA/B.Sc (IT/CS). They should have completed the 12th class and domiciled at Uttar Pradesh state.
Eligible candidates can register for UPCET 2021 UG/ PG course online via upcet.nta.nic.in. They will get the direct link for UPCET for UG 2021 and UPCET for PG 2021 on the homepage only. On clicking on the ‘new registration’ button, candidates can register themselves successfully. Thereafter, proceed to submit the UPCET 2021 application form. Here, they have to enter the personal information, contact details, educational qualification, 03 city reference. The last step is to upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Also, take a print out of the submitted application and payment confirmation.
The UPCET 2021 application fee can only be submitted via online mode. General, OBC (Male candidate) have to pay Rs. 1300 /- whereas Female, SC / ST / PWD have to pay Rs. 650/- as the application fee. The payment can be done using the Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Wallets.
