National Testing Agency has delayed the event of UPCET 2021 registration process. New registrations and form fill up process for the upcoming exam was deemed to start yesterday at the website upcet.nta.nic.in. However, the NTA has not updated any new registration or form-fill up link at the website till now on March 27, 2021. Earlier, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University released the complete schedule of events and a brief notification of UPCET 2021. According to it, UPCET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on May 16, 2021 across 57 cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
It is not clear as to why the NTA has delayed the release of the UPCET 2021 Application Form. Although it was scheduled to be released yesterday on March 26, 2021, upon opening the official website, one can see that no such link has been activated yet. AKTU has clearly indicated that online registrations & application for UPCET 2021 (earlier known by the name UPSEE) will be conducted through the official NTA website i.e. upcet.nta.nic.in only. The last date to register & apply online has also been declared. Eligible aspirants will be able to register & apply online for UPCET 2021 till April 25, 2021.
Those who are unfamiliar with the latest developments may note that the UP State Entrance Examination was earlier conducted for admission to UG, PG & Lateral Entry courses in AKTU, MMMUT and other State Universities of Uttar Pradesh. Now this year, the exam has been renamed to Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test and it is being conducted by the National Testing Agency. Admission to programs such as B.Pharm, BBA, B.Des, MBA, MCA, B.Tech Lateral Entry etc. in the aforementioned Universities will be conducted on the basis of UPCET 2021 ranking.
Candidates who are waiting for the NTA to release the UPCET 2021 application form are advised to check the official website frequently. Detailed information regarding syllabus & scheme of exam, eligibility criteria, fee details, procedure for applying etc. will be available on the website nta.ac.in as per schedule.
