Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj (NDUAT) has started with the UPCATET 2019 application process on its official website, http://www.upcatet.org. Earlier, from some unofficial sources it was claimed that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut will be conducting Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test.
But now, as per the information brochure it has been confirmed UPCATET 2019 is going to be conducted by NDUAT. Candidates must note that, the last date to submit their UPCATET 2019 application is March 31, 2019, whereas the last date to submit the UPCATET 2019 application fee is April 01, 2019.
Candidates should be between the age limit of 17 – 25 years, in order to pursue a B.V.S and A.H course. And for all other UG courses, a candidate should fall between the age limit of 16 – 22 years, in order to be eligible. Candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST will be given a relaxation of 5 Years, for UG admissions. While for B.Sc admission, a candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 with PCM/PCB or some related stream and for M.Sc admission, a candidate should have passed 10+2 and B.Sc.in a related subject.
Interested candidates can check the UPCATET 2019 eligibility criteria by downloading the information brochure, complete the registration, submit the application fee and take a print out of the filled in application form. The UPCATET 2019 application fee, for UR and OBC candidates is Rs.1250, whereas for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 1050.
The payment needs to be made via using either Net Banking, Debit Card or SBI E-Challan facility. Candidates need to keep their category, registration number and date of birth ready in order to make the payment. After 24 hours of making the UPCATET 2019 Application fee payment, a candidate needs to take 2 print outs of the filled in UPCATET 2019 application form, for future reference.
Over UPCATET online application portal, a candidate need to upload a recent passport size photograph, signature and right hand index fingerprint. All of these documents must be uploaded in jpg format. The uploaded photograph is advised not to be clicked, prior to January 31, 2019 and should clearly mention the name of the candidates, along with his/her Aadhar number, Father’s Name and Date of Photo Taken. In the same manner, a candidate needs to carry the photograph, on the day of counselling, as well.
On the basis of the details provided over UPCATET application form, a candidate is then issued the admit card for the exam in online mode. The release date of UPCATET 2019 Admit card is May 01, 2019 onward. If due to some unforeseen reasons, a candidate is not able to download the admit card, he/she can pay Rs.100 in cash and submit 2 copies of the uploaded photograph to get a duplicate admit card from NDUAT.
Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test is a pen and paper based, state level examination conducted for admissions to 12 UG programmes, 6 Ph.D and various PG programmes in 4 of its member agriculture and science universities, namely Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology and Banda University of Agriculture And Technology. For UG courses, UPCATET 2019 will be held for 3 hours for 600 marks across Kanpur, Ayodhya, Meerut, Banda, Varanasi and Lucknow. UPCATET 2019 for Ph.D courses will be conducted for 2 hours on May 18, 2019 for 300 marks.
