Just a day ahead of the registration deadline, the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh, has revised the application schedule. Today, April 16, the state council announced the extension of the registration deadline to April 30, 2022. The announcement has been published on the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates have received a 2-week extension to submit their online application form.
The UP JEECUP 2022 registration process began on February 15, 2022, on jeecup.admissions.nic.in. It was scheduled to end on April 17, followed by a correction facility from April 18 to 22, 2022. With the latest revision in application dates, the subsequent events shall also change.

Usually, a change in exam or application schedule is communicated via a public notice issued by the conducting body. However, in case of UP JEECUP 2022 deadline extension, the council has not issued any official public notice. Instead, a short announcement has been published on the official portal.

Apart from specifying the extension in the deadline, the announcement does not carry any further details. Candidates, however, can predict the dates for the correction facility based on the previous schedule. They must also understand that changes in the application schedule do not impact the exam date. So, the JEECUP 2022 exam will be held from June 06 to 12, 2022.
What is the revised UP JEECUP 2022 schedule?
Taking the recently introduced changes into consideration, the UP JEECUP 2022 application process is scheduled from February 15 to April 30, 2022. Thereafter, candidates who have successfully submitted their online forms will be able to access the correction facility. This facility will remain active from May 01 to 04, 2022.
According to the existing schedule, the UP JEECUP 2022 admit cards will be issued to registered candidates, starting May 29, 2022. The polytechnic entrance exam will be held as per schedule, in June 2022.

The UP JEECUP 2022 exam is a state-level entrance test planned to be held in a center-based manner, at selected centres across the state. Candidates who qualify the exam shall be able to pursue polytechnic professional courses at reputed institutions.
