As per reports, a notification about UP Police result 2019 for 49568 constable vacancies has gone viral on social media. Candidates have shared the notice in government job groups in social media, and also made videos on it. However as of now, there is no such notification by UPPRPB on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
The notification could be fake, or it could be a leaked notice too. Nevertheless only result notifications by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on the official website are considered real and valid.
As per the viral notification, candidates equal to 2.5 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the physical efficiency test. The notice also shows some cut offs. As per it, the cut offs are UR – 197.4368, OBC – 184.5368, SC- 156.6427, ST – 141.5734.
This notification is being shared by candidates for the past 1-2 hours. However no one has verified the source of origin. Those with any information about the notification, can share their inputs in the comments section of this news.
UPPRPB had released notification for UP Police Constable bharti 2019 in November last year. 19,38,643 candidates had applied for the recruitment. For all who had applied, written test was held on January 27 and 28, 2019. After that answer key was released on February 2, 2019 and objections were accepted until February 7, 2019. The final answer key was released a few days ago and was available for viewing until November 12, 2019.
Going by reports, UP Police result 2019 for 49568 constable vacancies is supposed to be out in 2-3 days only. Leading dailies claim that the result is ready and will be published on the website as soon as some last minute processes are completed.
On the basis of the results, candidates will be called for physical efficiency test and document verification. Male candidates should be at least 168 cms tall, and ST candidates should be 160 cms tall at least. Minimum chest dimensions should be 79 cm unexpanded, and 84 cm expanded; ST candidates should have at least 77 cm chest unexpanded and 82 cms expanded. Female candidates should be at least 152 cms tall or 147 cms if they are in ST category. The minimum weight requirement for female candidates is 40 kgs.
In the physical efficiency test, candidates will have to take part in a running event. Male candidates need to run 4.8 km in 25 minutes, whereas female candidates should run 2.4 km in 14 minutes. This will be qualifying round.
Those who qualify the physical tests will be considered for final selection. The final selection will be on the basis of merit and vacancies in that post and category. Merit will be as per marks obtained in written exam only.
Through these processes, a total of 31,360 vacancies will be filled for the constable civil police post and 18,208 vacancies will be filled for constable in pradeshik armed constabulary (PAC) post.
