Recent reports indicate that around 6000 vacancies are going to be notified for UP Lekhpal Bharti 2019. The process of accumulating vacancies, deciding recruitment details, has witnessed a fresh start at the Uttar Pradesh Board of Revenue. As soon as details are finalized they will be sent to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
The biggest change we will come across in UP Lekhpal recruitment 2019 will be the absence of interviews. Selection is anticipated to be only on basis of written exam and fulfillment of eligibility criteria. This change is a direct result of the decision taken by the new government that came into power in the state two years ago, wherein it was decided to end interviews for all non-gazetted group B, C, D, posts.
That notification for Lekhpal recruitment in UP will be published for 2019 has been published in a leading daily of the state. The report further contains that the General Secretary of Lekhpal Sangh confirmed that there are vacant posts of Lekhpal, due to which, working members have to increasingly bear more burden of incoming work. As a result, different problems come up in the department. Critical matters like land disputes take up a lot of time and demand focus. However, all work is important and any pending matters, which can be sped up if vacant posts are filled, lead to extra pressure on officers. To make the functioning of the department better and smoother, the Chairman is soon going to send the offer to conduct recruitment for vacant posts of Lekhpal to UPSSSC.
It is anticipated that the notification, as and when it is ready, will be published either at bor.up.nic.in or upsssc.gov.in. Detailed break up of district wise vacancies, age limit, selection process, syllabus and other information will be contained in the notification. Currently, UPSSSC Forest Guard and Wildlife recruitment 2019 is ongoing whose registration closed yesterday.
Last time that UP Lekhpal Bharti (recruitment) was conducted was in the year 2015. That recruitment was for 13600 vacancies and selection comprised of written exam of 80 marks and interview of 20 marks. At that time the salary advertised was Rs 5200 – Rs 20,200 with grade pay Rs 2,000. Exam for Lekhpal recruitment consisted of objective type questions on general Hindi, mathematics, general knowledge, village society and development.
If the eligibility criteria for Lekhpal post remains same as last time, then candidates with class 12 (intermediate) pass will be able to apply for UP Lekhpal bharti 2019. Age limit, in previous bharti, was 18 to 42 years of age.
