The Allahabad High Court has directed UPSSSC to declare result of Excise Constable recruitment 2019 within two months. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission had published notification for 405 vacancies of Abkari Sipahi (Excise Constable) in the year 2016. Open for candidates with class 12 pass qualification, a large number of job aspirants had applied for it.
The exam was held on September 25, 2016. Just after the exam, reports of paper leak had emerged. The matter was investigated by police and CBCID. It was reported that alleged persons involved in the paper leak were also caught. However ever since the paper leak matter has been going on in the court.
Due to the ongoing court case, the UP Excise Constable Result has been pending since the year 2016. Now finally the Allahabad High Court has directed UPSSSC to publish the result within two months, which has been pending for over 1000 days. It has been reported in a leading daily of the state that the court has stated thus in this matter. Moreover a separate shows that the pending investigation is supposed to be wrapped up this month only.
UPSSSC will first declare the result of written exam and then conduct physical standards test and physical efficiency test. Shortlisted candidates can participate in the PET/PST at assigned dates and venues.
As per the requirement of board, male candidates should have height of 167.6 cm, and minimum chest 80 cm unexpanded and 85 cm expanded. In case of female candidates the height requirement is 152 cm, and weight 45 Kgs. SC and ST female candidates can be minimum 147 cms tall.
The physical efficiency test will comprise of race, long jump, cricket ball throw. As per the recruitment notification published in 2016, written exam and physical efficiency test will be of 60 marks, and interview will be of 40 marks.
UPSSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2019 is for 203 vacancies of general category, 85 for SC, 8 for ST, and 109 for OBC. The result will either be published in the form of a PDF file containing roll numbers of shortlisted candidates, or be available at login. If it is published at login then candidates will have to login with either registration number or roll number and date of birth.
