Exam regulatory authority, Uttar Pradesh published twp important UP DElEd result 2019 yesterday. The UP DElEd 2018 2nd semester result was announced at btcexam.in, and the UP DElEd 2017 2nd semester back paper result was declared at updeledinfo.in.
There was a lot of discussion in active groups on social media since yesterday morning. Few candidates had shared the following image also, to confirm that the results are announced. However, most candidates could not see the result on the website.
The usual way of checking UP D.El.Ed results is to go to btcexam.in, then select session, and then on session page the link for result is given. In this case though, link for UP DElEd 2nd Semester Result 2018 is not directly available on the site yet.
Candidates have shared this link to check result – http://btcexam.in/Dled18report/Dledsearchresult.aspx?STAT=02. Here, one has to enter roll number and date of birth to check their result.
The UP D.El.Ed 2nd Semester Back Paper Result 2017 however is directly available at updeledinfo.in. Candidates just have to go to the site, and click “UP D.El.Ed 2017 2d Semester Back Paper Aug 2019 Examination”. Then they have to enter roll number and date of birth to check their result.
As per the image shared above, and also news reports in leading dailies of Uttar Pradesh, the statistics of passed and failed candidates is announced.
In the second semester 2018 exam, 1,51,876 candidates applied. Whereas 1,50,208 had appeared in exam. 1,668 were absent, 330 filled incomplete details. The number of candidates who qualified are 95,087. Whereas 54,744 candidates failed. Pass percentage is 63%.
In the back paper, 34,858 candidates had registered. Of them 34,403 candidates appeared in the exam, 455 were absent. 364 filled incomplete details in paper. In back paper, 19,476 candidates qualified and 14,561 failed. Here the pass percentage is even less, only 56.7%.
Newspapers reporting on the matter have raised concerns over the high number of candidates who failed in the exam. The matter is being discussed as to why so many candidates are not able to pass the training course. Earlier the large number of disqualified candidates in competitive exams was understandable, but these are candidates whose training is being done.
Candidates are yet to report on whether they are able to check their result from the btcexam.in link or not. However, most candidates have shared the same link, saying that this is where the result is available.
The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is the course designed for 12th pass candidates to pursue, before taking up teaching as a profession. In-service and trainee teachers also undertake the course to bridge the gap between their knowledge and what is expected from a teacher as per the latest norms.
