The board has rejected 433 schools from becoming exam centers. It may be recalled that in the past few years, the board has put some strict requirements on schools for becoming centers. This has been done to ensure that security at all centers are uncompromising, and so that students can take their tests without any goofups.
Also, the strict requirements will ensure elimination of malpractices that are rampant in the form of cheating, impersonation, and so on. However it is relevant to note that ever since board exams became closely governed by the government, fewer cases of cheating have come to light.
The list provided is very detailed. It contains name of school, center code, school status, total students who will take the test at center, and any comment centre wise as deemed fit.
Students can, and should, check this list to know the probable exam centers. When they get their hall tickets, they should match the center code and center name from this list if so required.
The list is available online, published on the occasion of children’s day and will be available here onward.
There are reports that suggest that this time all board exam 2020 centers in UP will have CCTV cameras. There will also be audio recording. The reason behind having audio recording is that a few cases emerged last time where some teachers went outside the range of CCTV and spoke out the answers in the classes in the exam centers. While teaching miscreants to not indulge in such practices is another story altogether, the board and the government does not want to leave any stone unturned to eliminate such practices.
Last year 31,95,603 students appeared in class 10th or high school exam, and 26,11,319 took the class 12th intermediate exams. That was a total of 58,06,922. 80.07% students passed class 10th, whereas 70.06% passed class 12th.
UP Board Class 12 time table 2020 as well as UP Board class 10 time table 2020 are already out. High school exams will be held from February 18 to March 3, 2020. And intermediate exams will be from February 18 to March 6, 2020.
