UP Board class 10 and 12 result has been announced by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). In all, 3404571 students appeared for class 10 examination, whereas, in class 12 total 2624681 students wrote the exams. The performance of girls has been better in comparison to male students.
In high school, the overall pass percentage of girls is 86.50%, whereas, the pass percentage of the boys got stagnant at 76.75%. The difference intermediate is almost the same. The pass percentage of boys is 77.16%. However, the girls took the lead with 88.80%
Impressed by such exceptional performance of the female candidates, the UP Government has decided to give away cash prize to the top 10 students.
Priyanshi Tewari has topped in class 12th result with 96.20% with Science stream. The top rank in class 10th has also been bagged by a girl, Tejaswi Devi. To everyone’s pleasant surprise, both class 10 and 12 toppers are from Fatehpur.

There was high expectation from Barabanki but not even a single student managed to secure position among the top 10 candidates.
The overall pass percentage of Class 10th was 81.6% and that of class 12th was 82.50%.
