The exam conducting body for UP BEd JEE 2019, which is Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University called the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Monday to discuss on the exam date for UP Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination-2019. It is confirmed that due to the Loksabha Elections, the exam date for UP BEd JEE 2019 will be shifted from April 11, 2019. In the meeting, two agendas have to be discussed on, first is the exam date and second is on the Application Form. The next date for the entrance examination will be sought from the Government.
The last date for submitting the UP BEd JEE 2019 Application Form is March 11, 2019. Till Sunday, the exam conducting body received 3.5 lakh application form for the entrance examination and about 3.05 lakh candidates paid the application fee for UP BEd JEE.
The Election notification was issued on Sunday, after which, the University authorities decided to churn out the BEd entrance examination date. Now, since no examination can be conducted on the day of the Elections, further, the University authorities are not prepared to conduct the UP BEd JEE 2019 before the exam date as well. Hence, the probable date for conducting UP BEd JEE 2019 will be after April 11, 2019.
The Advisory Committee will also discuss whether the last date for submitting the UP BEd JEE 2019 Application Form should be extended or not. It is advised to the candidates to not to wait for any further and submit the form on March 11, 2019, only. The last date for making the payment of the Application fee is March 13, 2019. Furthermore, the last date to pay the Application Fee, and submit the form is March 13, 2019.
The online registration for UP BEd JEE 2019 is to be done online at upbed2019.in. The aspirants need to pay an application fee of Rs. 1500 in case of General/ OBC category/ Outside State Candidates of All Category, and Rs. 750 in case of SC/ ST category.
UP BEd JEE is a state level entrance examination. The exam is conducted to offer admission to the students in the B.Ed degree course. UP BEd JEE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted at 15 test cities across spread across Uttar Pradesh. The entrance exam is of 03 hours duration and consist of MCQ type questions. The entrance exam for UP BEd JEE is divided into two papers – Paper 1 consist of questions from General Knowledge and Hindi / English (any one), whereas, Paper 2 consist of questions from General Aptitude Test, and Professional Subject (Art/Science/Commerce/Agriculture).
