Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC), headquartered at Dehradun, has released official notification for the recruitment for the posts of Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) Grade III. It is a good opportunity for agriculture degree holders. Candidates who have a B.Sc degree in agriculture from any recognized institution are eligible to appear in the UKSSSC AAO recruitment. Interested candidates can fill up the online form which has started, at sssc.uk.gov.in. The last date to apply online is September 19, 2019. The deadline to submit the fee via debit card / net banking is until September 21, 2019.
A total number of 280 vacancies are available in this recruitment. Category wise distribution is 171 for UR category candidates, 48 for EWS, 43 for OBC, 15 for SC and 03 for ST. The candidates applying for the post have to be a citizen of India and aged between 21 to 42 years as on July 01, 2019.
First time applicants must register themselves through One Time Registration (OTR) from the UKSSSC website uksssconline.in. Then they have to create an account (register) by entering their name, email id and mobile number, and clicking on the Generate OTP tab.They will then receive their username and password on their registered phone number and email address. Thereafter registered applicant has to login with the same registration number and password, upload scanned passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression with a file size not exceeding 50 kb.
After filling up the online application form, candidates need to remit fee. The application fees for general, OBC, EWS category is Rs 300/- and for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD is Rs 150/-.
The candidates will be selected as per the written examination and interview. The written examination will be an objective type test of 2 hours, 100 marks with questions on topics related to B.Sc agriculture. The general category candidates have to pass with a qualifying marks of 45%, and 35 % for unreserved and reserved category respectively. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark and for an incorrect answer, 1/4 will be deducted. The exam is scheduled to be held in the month of December, tentatively. The appointed candidates will be awarded with a salary of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100.
UKSSSC, short for Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission, was established in 2014. The objective of the commission is to coordinate direct recruitment for all group C posts in the departments of Uttarakhand. Prior to Assistant Agricultural Officer, the commission released notification and online application form for 100 vacancies of Junior Engineer, last date to apply for which is August 25 and its exam will also be held in December.
