Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun every year conducts Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE) for the courses like B.Pharma, BHMCT, & MCA.
UKSEE 2018 result was expected to come on May 24, 2018. Now it will be announced on May 28, 2018 according to latest announcement by the University. It will be announced by UTU on its official website uktech.ac.in.
A merit list will be released which will contain the names of all the qualified candidates who are eligible for counseling round. After that the applicants have to register for the counselling and mark their preferences. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit and preference made by the candidate. The final admission will only be done when the candidate will book the seat and pay the admission fee.
Candidate can check his result by visiting the official website i.e. uktech.ac.in. Click on the tab that says ‘UKSEE 2018 Result’. Select the course for which you have appeared in the exam and finally a merit list will appear on the screen .By using ctrl+F key you can search your name in the whole list. The list will contain your name,father’s name, roll number , category and rank which are considered as important details.
If in case tie occurs it is resolved and inter-se merit is released. If tie occurs then the candidate whose more number of answers are correct is prefered over the ones who have high number of incorrect answer.An applicant who is older in age is considered most over other candidates.
If the tie is still not resolved, the marks in qualifying exam are considered to select the candidate whose name is placed above others.
After declaration of results candidates have to participate in the counselling processes . Candidates ought to fill the online form for the counselling with the counselling fee in order to be eligible for the admission procedure. On allotment of seat they need to visit the campus to reserve the seat and pay the admission fee for provisional admission.
Candidates need to take certain documents at the time of admission. Class 10th and 12th marksheet , qualifying exam certificate, UKSEE 2018 result/ score card , UKSEE admit card,medical certificate need to be taken. Also 4 passport size photographs, photo identity proof, domicile certificate and caste certificate if applicable are required at the time of admission.
