Recently, the National Testing Authority has confirmed that it will be accepting the uploaded photographs without date, time and white background for UGC NET December 2018. Most of the candidates who had uploaded their photographs without these three things have finally breathed a sigh of relief after receiving this confirmation on the official website of UGC NET 2018.
The authorities have also confirmed that they will not be rejecting any application on this basis. And in case of any discrepancy found in the UGC NET 2018 application form of any candidate, it will be sending a text message notifying the error. Thereby, providing a link over a candidate’s application portal to make the changes in the image upload.
Candidates will be able to edit their photographs and signature, within the period allotted to edit their other details, mentioned in the UGC NET 2019 Application Form as well.
Note that, the last date to make the correction in the application form is different from the last date to correct the photograph and signature. A candidate will be able to edit all the details mentioned in the application form till October 14, 11:50 pm, whereas a candidate will be allowed to edit only photograph and signature till October 30, 11:50 pm. This is the final, one-time opportunity that is given to all the candidates.
The discrepancy in photograph or signature could arise because of a hazy picture being uploaded, a colorful background, red eyes due to improper flash or selfies being uploaded in place of passport size photographs.
The details, as appearing in the application forms (after editing over the correction window) will be treated as the final ones and also will be printed on the UGC NET 2018 Admit Cards. So, candidates need to make full use of this provision!
To avail this provision, a candidate will be required to login with the help of the credentials, provided. From there they will find their filled up application forms to edit and go through the details provided, one last time. After making all the corrections, make sure to “submit” those corrections. A candidate will receive a confirmation after making the changes.
