UGC NET Application Form Correction 2021 Starts Today @ ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency is opening the UGC NET 2021 application form correction window today i.e. March 12, 2021. Candidates who registered and applied online earlier will be able to edit their submitted application form at ugcnet.nta.nic.in from today. Only registered candidates will be able to edit the already submitted application form till 11.50 PM on March 16, 2021. Candidates will be able to make changes to certain details on the application form including their photograph & signature if required.

UGC NET Application Form Correction 2021 is absolutely free of cost and is not mandatory. Only those candidates who may have entered incorrect details on the online application form or uploaded unclear photograph or signature are required to utilize the opportunity to make necessary corrections on the already submitted application form. However, the NTA only allows editing of certain specific details. Information such as candidate’s name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number etc. cannot be edited even during the form correction window.

How to Make UGC NET Application Form Correction 2021?

UGC NET 2021 application form correction can be made online at the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in starting today. Candidates need to know the UGC NET 2021 Application Number & Password generated during the online application process to be able to edit the applications. This is because the application form can only be accessed through candidate login.

Once at the homepage of the official UGC NET – NTA website, candidates can see the direct link for UGC NET Application Form Correction 2021. One must click on this link and the page automatically redirects to the candidate login portal. Here, candidates need to login by entering their Application Number & Password correctly in order to edit the application successfully.

How to Edit UGC NET Application Form?

After logging in successfully and opening the applications, candidates will be able to see the fields that can be edited on the application form. One must check all the editable fields and double-check that they are correctly filled up. Once the form correction period is over, no request for editing the application form will be entertained by the UGC.

Candidates must carefully check the photograph & signature uploaded during the online application procedure of UGC NET 2021. As per the information brochure, 80% of the photograph must show the candidate’s face. The photograph must be taken against a white background with both ears visible. Masks are not allowed in the photographs.

If there is any deviation in the photograph uploaded earlier, then candidates can re-upload a new photograph during the application form correction window. Similarly, one must also check that their signature is legible otherwise, they must upload a new image of the signature during the form correction window.
