UGC NET 2019 Admit Card Released at nta.ac.in/UGCNET; Check Exam Instructions Here

National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 28, 2019, released the admit card for UGC NET June 2019 exam. Candidates can download their admit card online from the official website, nta.ac.in/UGCNET. Earlier, it was supposed to release on May 15, 2019, which was delayed to May 27, 2019, and then further delayed to May 28, 2019. Candidates have to download theirUGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination June 2019 Admit Card by online mode only. NTA does not send a hard copy of it via post or email.

To download the admit card, candidates firstly need to visit the official website. Next, the candidates have to log in by entering their application number and date of birth in the specified fields. Click on the “Submit” button and in the next screen, the candidate’s admit card is displayed on the screen. Finally, candidates should download a copy of it on their device and then take a print out of the admit card on an A-4 size paper.

UGC NET June 2019 Admit Card consists of personal details of the candidate as well as exam details like candidate’s name, date of birth, category, gender. After downloading the admit card, candidates should note that the details mentioned on it should be correct. If there is an error/ discrepancy in the details printed on the admit card, then contact the concerned authorities immediately.

Another important instruction for the candidates appearing for the test is that the name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit Card. If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, the candidate must show the relevant document at the time of the exam. Marriage Certificate/Divorce/Decree/Legal Name Change Document

The entrance exam for UGC NET is going to be conducted in two shifts. Shift 1 is from 09.30 am- 12.30 pm and Shift 2 is from 02.30 pm- 5.30 pm. It is advised to the candidates to report at the Examination Center well in time, at least 02 hours before the commencement of the examination. Note that no candidate will be permitted to enter into the Examination Center after 8.30 am in First Shift and after 1.30 pm in Second Shift.

On the day of the test, do not forget to carry the hard copy of the NET Admit Card, a passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form), any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card), PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.

UGC NET June 2019 examination is scheduled to be held from 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 June, 2019. It is conducted to certify eligibility for the role of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Those who clear the exam are eligible to apply for Assistant Lectureship positions or JRF positions
