TSSPDCL Notification 2019 at tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in for revised vacancies, 3025, awaited

Government job seekers in Telangana have been waiting since morning for the TSSPDCL notification 2019 at tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in and tssouthernpower.com. As per the short notification published last month, and also the corrigendum released a few days ago, the detailed notification is supposed to come at the careers link of tssouthernpower.com and tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in.

As can be seen, there is no detailed notification yet on the careers page of tssouthernpower.com. And the other website, tssouthernpower.cgg.gov.in is not working (says this site can’t be reached). Notification as well as online application form will be available on these websites.

The latest news is that a corrigendum was published in print newspapers on October 6. As per it, the vacancies have been revised. The new vacancies are: 2,500 for Junior Lineman, 25 for Junior Personnel Officer, and 500 for Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator. Thus the total number of vacancies are 3,025.

Earlier, as per the short notification published on September 28, the number of vacancies was 2,438 for Junior Lineman, 24 for Junior Personnel Officer, and 477 for Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator. Then the total vacancies was 2,939. 

Difference in the number of vacancies is because the first notification did not include vacancies in Suryapet district. Whereas the new one includes those of Suryapet district. 

However it may be noted that neither the first nor the second notifications have been published on any of the official websites yet.

Has the TSSPDCL notification 2019 been delayed?

The date of availability of notification is given as “on or after 10.10.2019”. Which means that the notification can come today or any date after this. So even if the notification does not come today, it cannot be termed as delayed. 

Three notifications will be released. TSSPDCL 01/2019 will be for JLM recruitment, 02/2019 for JPO, and 03/2019 for JACO.

It is expected that class 10th pass candidates will be allowed to appear in the JLM recruitment. However ITI qualification should be required. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the last JLM recruitment process was based on marks for SSC score, in service experience, and test on pole climbing, meter reading, and cycling.

For JPO post, graduates are expected to be allowed to apply. TSNPDCL JPO recruitment process consisted of a written test and is likely to repeat for the TSSPDC recruitment. Graduation is also expected to be the educational qualification requirement for JACO.
