The long awaited Preliminary Result 2017 for the Post Graduate Teacher Exam (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher exam (TGT) has been declared yesterday by the conducting authority Telangana State Public Service Commission. The organisation has published the provisional merit-list for the recruitment of language teachers to numerous residential based institutions. The merit-list can be viewed online through the official website of the conducting organisation http://www.tspsc.gov.in. In order to generate the result, the aspirants will need to enter their allotted roll numbers. The merit-list contains the list of Register Numbers of shortlisted candidates.

Candidates who appeared for TSPSC TGT preliminary exam on 31st May and 14th June can check result, and if they have register number in list, they can appear for main exam which is scheduled to be held in September. In a similar fashion, test takers of TSPSC PGT preliminary exam on the same dates, can check result and attend mains exam in August.

Apart from that, there has been a shortage in the selection of candidates in the ratio 1:15 with respect to the certain categories. Approximately 36,000 aspirants have been shortlisted for the Mains examination who will again lock horns to occupy the 2430 posts of PGTs and TGTs in Residential Education Institutions Societies.

Along with prelims result, TSPSC has published dates for PGT and TGT Main Exam 2017. Aspirants who are up for the PGT post will have to attend the Mains exam for Telugu, Hindi, Urdu on 27th August 2017 whereas the test-takers for the English language will have to report to the examination hall on 28th August 2017. The Mains examination of TGT will take place on 3rd September for the recruitment of Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and the Sanskrit teachers and desirous aspirants for English language will have to attend the exam on 4th September 2017.

The selected candidates can issue the Memorandum of marks after 90 days of publication of the final results by making the payment of Rs. 200/- through online mode, by following instructions of TSPSC. In any case, no candidates will be entertained regarding the request for revaluation or recounting of the marks.
