The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has started with its application procedure for the post of Junior Panchayat Secretary over its official website i.e www.tspri.cgg.gov.in. In that, the Commissioner of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment of Telangana has invited applications from various interested eligible candidates for this post between September 03, 2018 to September 11, 2018, via online mode. Though, the online fee payment could be only made till September 10, 2018. 9355 vacancies will be filled across 30 districts.
On August 30, 2018, it had released a recruitment notification for the role of the Panchayat Secretary who will be working towards strengthening the administration across various Grams in the Telangana state.

A candidate should at least be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University in order to be eligible for this post. The age limit of a General category applicant has been fixed at 18-39 years. While 5 years of age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, 10 years of age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the PHC category.
The exam fee for the General category candidates has been fixed at Rs.800/- and for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories it will be Rs.400/-.
All interested candidates will be required to appear for objective type, written examination. It will consist of 2 papers that need to be done in 2 hours duration each. Paper 1 will contain questions from topics like General Knowledge and General Mental Ability and Culture and History of Telangana, while Paper 2 will contain questions on TPR Act 2018, Panchayat Raj Institutions and Local Governance, Rural Development, Telangana History, Culture, Geography and Economy and Government Schemes. Each of these paper will be of 100 marks, making it a paper of total 200 marks. The medium of this written, degree level exam will be Telugu, English, and Urdu.
There will be different set of question paper. Not only, the number of questions be jumbled but the choices provided for each question will also be jumbled. For every correct answer, a candidate will be given 1 mark. There will also be a negative marking of 1/3 rd mark, for every incorrect response provided by a candidate. The results for this entrance exam will be released in the form of a merit list, which will be prepared district wise. And, the same will be communicated to the Commissioner of the Panchayat Raj & Rural Development for the further selection procedure.
