Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training has officially postponed the TS POLYCET 2021 exam date as well as the registration schedule. The Board earlier announced that TS POLYCET 2021 for admission to Diploma courses in Engineering (Polytechnic), Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Fisheries will be conducted on June 12, 2021. Online registrations for the offline exam were scheduled to start from today on the official website sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The Board has postponed both the dates now through an official notice on the website.
SBTET Telangana has issued an updated postponement notice for TS POLYCET 2021 indicating that both the exam date and the date of commencement of registrations are now postponed. The exam will be held on a later date and online registrations for the exam will also be started on a later date. The notice reads that the examination and the online registration dates are postponed to a later date in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation prevailing in the Telangana State.
Those who were aspiring to appear in the TS POLYCET 2021 exam have to wait for the SBTET to decide on the new dates. With the country facing the second wave of the pandemic in 2021, this is not the first entrance exam of its kind to be postponed. Even upcoming sessions (April 2021) of national level exams like the JEE (Main) 2021 have also been postponed due to the recent spike in COVID-19 casualties all over India. Candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website for further updates regarding the exam.
It is highly unlikely that the SBTET can conduct the exam amidst rising COVID-19 related casualties in India now. Candidates can expect the Board to announce new dates of conducting the exam only after the pandemic can be controlled. Till then, aspirants are advised to dedicate the time to prepare for the exam better. The SBTET have already announced the official syllabus of the TS POLYCET 2021 exam earlier on the website. Candidates must refer to the syllabus and take help from previous year papers to study for the exam in an effective manner.
The official syllabus of the TS POLYCET 2021 is available for download on the website sbtet.telangana.gov.in. The syllabus is as per the SSC-2021 syllabus as indicated in official documents released by the Board in regard to the TS POLYCET 2021. For admission to Engineering Diploma courses, the syllabus is as per the subjects of Physics and Mathematics. On the other hand, for admission to Agriculture Diploma courses and Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Diploma courses, the syllabus is as per the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Biology.
