Teacher Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) will release the application form of Tripura TET 2019 on April 26, 2019, by 4:00 p.m. The online application form will be made available at the official website i.e. trb.tripura.gov.in. Until June 20, 2019, by 4:00 pm candidates will be able to submit the finalized form of paper-I and paper-II. Tripura – Teacher eligibility test (T-TET) is conducted for those who want to be an undergraduate teacher for class I to V and graduate teacher for class VI to VIII students.
Before doing the T-TET registration candidates must first read the eligibility criteria. The candidates should note that TRBT has no upper age limit restrictions however, the candidates must meet other eligibility norms as prescribed in the official notification.
The unreserved and SC / ST / PH category candidates applying for Tripura TET will have to pay Rs 300 and Rs 200 as an application fee, respectively. The last date for making the application fee payment is Jul 05, 2019. In the application form, candidates will have to fill personal, educational, qualification, contact details, etc and have to upload the photograph and signature in JPEG format. The photograph and signature size must be 4 to 100 kb and 1 to 20 kb, respectively.
The candidates who will submit the application form and pay the fee before or till the last date for those only admit card will be issued. The board will issue the admit card at the official website. For fetching the admit card candidates have to provide a user name, password on the login page. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card and one valid photo identity card on the day of the Tripura TET examination.
Tripura teacher eligibility test is consist of two paper namely; paper-I and paper-II. The paper-I and paper-II are for the candidates want to be a teacher of class I-V and class VI-VIII, respectively. In both papers total 150 multiple choice question of 150 marks will be asked. Each question will be of 01 marks and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. From this year, the Kokborok as an alternative of Bengali (second language) in Tripura – TET paper-I and paper-II has been introduced.
In the paper- I, questions from child development and pedagogy, English & Bengali language, mathematics, and environmental studies subject will be asked and in a paper-II question from child development and pedagogy, English & Bengali language and one optional subject (mathematics, science, social studies, etc) will be asked. In order to qualify the test, the unreserved and SC / ST / PH category candidates have to obtain a minimum 90 and 83 cut off marks out of 150 respectively.
The candidates who qualify the TET are awarded teacher eligibility certificate after doing the document verification. The TET certificate holder will be eligible to apply for the teacher job in government, semi-government, and private sector.
