Today i.e. March 18, 2019, is the last date for submitting the application form of UPSC Civil Services 2019. By 06:00 p.m eligible and interested candidates can apply for the IAS 2019, and IFS 2019, after that application window will be inactivated. The application form is available at the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. The IFS and IAS Application Form 2019 was released on February 19, 2019, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The general category candidates applying UPSC Civil Services those have to pay Rs 100/- as an application fee and SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. For making the application fee payment candidates have can use two modes i.e. online and offline. Candidates using online mode for making the payment can do it so through Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking and the candidates who want to use offline payment can deposit the money in the form of cash at any branch of SBI.
Before filling the IAS and IFS Application Form 2019 candidates should first read the eligibility criteria because if at any stage of the recruitment candidates found ineligible then he / she will be eliminated from the recruitment process. The candidate’s want to apply for IAS and IFS those age should be between 21 to 32 years. The preliminary IAS 2019 and IFS 2019 examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 02, 2019. For maximum 06 times, only general category candidates can attempt for Civil Services. Reserved category candidate gets the relaxation, for SC/ ST category candidates there is no restriction on attempts. While filling the form the candidates have to choose the name of Service for which he/she want to appear.
The candidates who will submit the form on time for those only IAS and IFS Admit Card 2019 will be issued. The admit card will be released in the month of May 2019 on the official website. For both, the examination i.e. for IFS and IAS separate admit card will be released. The preliminary examination will be consist of 2 paper i.e. paper 1 and 2. The candidates who will obtain 33% marks in paper II, and who will qualify the paper I will be treated as qualified candidates.
This year UPSC in Civil Services added the new facility for the candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section. From this year the commission will provide 10% reservation in higher studies to EWS candidates.
For IAS and IFS recruitment will be done for 896 and 90 vacancies respectively. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of preliminary, main and personality test.
