Today i.e. March 30, 2019, is the last date for filling the UGC NET Application Form 2019. The application form is available at the official website i.e. ntanet.nic.in. Today by 11:50 p.m National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online registration window but the candidates are given two-day relaxation for making the fee payment which means up to April 01, 2019 candidates can submit the application fee.
Before filling the form candidates should first read the eligibility criteria. The person who has obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the post graduation can apply for the examination. Here the reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC – NCL/ PWD) who have obtained minimum 50% marks are also eligible to fill the form. There is no restriction on the age limit for determining the eligibility certificate as Assistant Professor, but for JRF the candidate’s maximum age limit should not be more than 30 years. Here also the relaxation has been provided to the reserved category candidate.
For doing the registration the candidates have to submit the application fee. The General category candidates have to pay Rs. 800/-, the candidates from OBC non-creamy layer category have to pay only Rs. 400/-, and the SC/ ST / PWD category candidate have to pay the application fee of Rs. 200/-. Both modes are open for the submission of application fee whether it is online or offline. For opting the online the Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking can be used, whereas if the candidate goes for the offline mode then the fee can be submitted through the e-challan of E-challan of SBI / HDFC / Syndicate / ICICI.
While filling the application form the candidates have to obtain utmost care, however, NTA will provide the chance to correct the mistakes in the application form. The application correction window will open on April 07, 2019, and the window will close on April 14, 2019. The candidates will be able to change the details filled by themselves. The changes are only allowed in the correction period. NTA will not entertain any queries regarding the correction in the application form.
The successful registries of UGC NET 2019 June examination will be issued the admit card for the examination. NTA will upload the admit card of candidates on the website on May 15, 2019.
The examination of UGC NET will be conducted on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2019. From this time onwards there will not be any break time between the two papers. Previously the candidates were provided the break of 30 minutes between two papers. NTA assured the result declaration of UGC NET 2019 on July 15, 2019. Before that, it will release the answer key of paper I and paper II and will invite the representatives of the candidates.
