Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to release Combined Civil Services Examination – II (group-II & II A services). As per recent reports, TNPSC group 2 notification 2019 will be released next month.
As per the TNPSC recruitment planner 2019, the notification for group 2 and 2 A was supposed to be released in the month of May. However no notification has been released until now. Thousands of candidates have been waiting for it since May.
Now finally, a leading daily of the state has reported that TNPSC group 2 notification 2019 will be released next month. The report further suggests that details for the recruitment are ready and are only being compiled. Also, a few changes may be expected in the selection process.
Secretary of TNPSC has been quoted in the report about making this statement. However there is no update on official website regarding any such update yet.
The last time that group 2 and 2A recruitment for non interview posts were conducted in Tamil Nadu was in 2017, as per notification number 10/2017. That time it was done for 1953 vacancies. In that recruitment, candidates with bachelors degree were invited to apply. There was a written exam for all posts.
In the previous TNPSC group 2 exam, the syllabus comprised of general studies of degree standard, with 75 questions, aptitude and mental ability test of SSLC standard with 25 questions, general tamil / general english of SSLC standard, with 100 questions. Overall the paper had 200 questions of 300 marks. Minimum qualifying marks was set as 90.
As soon as TNPSC releases group 2 notification 2019, it will be available at tnpsc.gov.in.

First and foremost, prepare a timetable and try to stick to it everyday. Divide the subjects and study accordingly to it.
